Weekly Roundup #6
Scorpio and the Meaning of the Natal Chart, Saturn Aquarius and Social Crisis, Saturn Pisces 2023; Pisces, Aquarius, Cancer, Libra, Aries, Scorpio
Entree
1.
Peterson has Venus Cancer which means he relates to people by weeping, very base, brute emotional resonance. He has Jupiter Pisces which weeps too, but out of cosmic melancholia. The weeping makes his teachings real to the average man. Pisces finds sympathy with all.
2.
"Sumptuous" is a very Taurean word. "Palatial." "Indulgent."
3.
Regarding recent warmongering: Libra is the Sign of BALANCE more than it's the Sign of peace, and the whole tit-for-tat Me-vs-You atmosphere of the past days is a consequence of the Sun and Venus in Libra opposing Jupiter in Aries - Aries breaks the symmetry and Libra compensates and restores it. Escalation.
Sun & Venus opposing Jupiter = New developments which disturb the peace, in essence. It's the feeling that came over society when the Nordstream bombing happened and you'll see it again early-mid November as the Sun, Venus and Mercury oppose Uranus and square Saturn.
3.
(Note: I wouldn’t normally include this sort of thing but it seems like an important cultural moment and a brilliant example of the Signs involved… judge for yourselves.)
The AI anime tiddy revolution occurred as Venus Libra opposed Jupiter Aries - new developments in aesthetics (Jupiter + Venus) merging the trashy sexuality of Aries with Libran trappings of elegance (Libra loves frills...)

Scorpio and the Meaning of the Natal Chart
The fact that there is even such a thing as "crushing pressure and oppressive darkness" is a product of Scorpio's existence and a field for Scorpionic action and experience. Earth, the universe itself is a field for the acquisition of certain experiences by mankind.
These experiences exist as a field for moral judgement, which is the raison d'etre of the universe. Individual action and will figure into this directly, as they are products of moral judgement. Take James Cameron, famous for his efforts to PLUMB THE ABYSSAL DEPTHS...
James Cameron has Saturn in Scorpio, which means... painstaking efforts to plumb the abyssal depths, figuratively or literally. Charging into extremely hostile environments and ENDURING, fighting through. Sam Hyde also has Saturn Scorpio. See how this is a metaphor for his life.
For the planets, for the eternal essences of the Zodiac, there is no "metaphor" per se, there is no difference between "figuratively" and "literally" - there is only the tone of the experience, and the individual moral response. The morally free individual's judgement.
We are all in the process of cultivating our morality. That is the point of the universe and life is one moral dilemma after the next, big or small. Resolution of these dilemmas trains us to handle bigger ones, and our discernment is refined.
The natal chart is an indication of the dilemmas we're meant to face and the experiences we're meant to have. This encompasses the material conditions of our life, people's reactions to us, our own personalities - every detail of our biography. It all culminates in experience, and moral refinement.
Saturn Aquarius and Social Crisis
I expect the "energy war" to heat up around end October to mid-November as planets in Scorpio oppose Uranus in Taurus. Taurus fights by withdrawing the precious and valuable things it's offered you, not striking directly (the stick) but withdrawing the carrot.
More broadly the whole resource war we've seen has been a product of Saturn Aquarius' square to Uranus in Taurus. Aquarius is about everyone coming to the big table, reaching an accord and dividing things up fairly - or getting as close to that as possible. Aquarius' social contracts occur at the scale of the neighbourhood, as well as geopolitically. Taurus is about resources, money, food, gas, etc. Thus, Taurus + Aquarius = Resource geopolitics.
Saturn in Aquarius signals a crisis in the social contract, a crisis in the way rights and responsibilities are divvied up, a failure to deliver on what people are entitled to. The premise of Society (which Aquarius governs) is a fair day's pay for a fair day's work...
Saturn in Aquarius means we collectively experience the burden of social responsibility (eg. Getting vaccinated before one can see his newborn niece or nephew) as something in excess of the rights & priviliges we enjoy in return for meeting it. It becomes a problem, needing work. We are forced to renegotiate all our "social contracts" on terms which better suit us. If we fail to put in the work, we get stuck with a raw deal. That's what a crisis in the social contract means. Solving it means establishing new affinity groups.
We saw a "crisis in the social contract" at international scale when governments across the world were compelled to march in lockstep with their coronavirus response - if one dissented, it would make the others look incompetent, at a time when collective confidence was thought necessary.
Aquarius fails through the "Emperor Has No Clothes" syndrome: When collective confidence is prized above honesty, the unmatched power of a unified society is turned towards unreal ends. Disaster results.
The square from Saturn Aquarius to Uranus Taurus through 2021 produced the pressure to mask and get vaccinated, as Taurus is also the Sign of good health. Aquarius + Taurus = Social pressure concerning health & disease. Certainly there was pressure with Saturn in Capricorn, but its nature observably changed with Saturn Aquarius.
The brief Saturn Aquarius ingress of March - July 2020 brought a brutal enforcement of conformity concerning the BLM riots. Post the black square or become a pariah. We saw confused attempts to renegotiate the social contract, even to establish a new society (CHAZ):
Nobody was happy with the social contract - those on the Right felt the conformity of broadly Leftist morality (as well as the ruination of small businesses and the rule of law) unbearable, while those on the Left felt the very institution of policing as unbearable and unjust, to mention just one side of it. Saturn Aquarius brought these feelings to fever pitch.
You will find, at any time in history when Saturn has been in Aquarius, a crisis in the social contract, big or small. The evidence is there for all to see. Come to your own conclusions!
What will the Scorpio-Aquarius squares in early November mean? Struggle for the sake of social renewal. While open hostility is typically an obstacle to the smooth functioning of society, the Scorpio-Aquarius square (at best) finds ways in which it can help set things right.
At worst, Scorpio-Aquarius means people coming together for the sake of becoming more threatening. Whether this is good really depends on to whom and for what sake... More threatening to a tyrant, good. More threatening to innocents, bad. We will see.
Saturn Pisces 2023
Pisces prompts "cult-like" behaviour comprehensible only to believers. Whether they're wrong is another question - decide for yourselves - but we can certainly observe an inner circle of true believers whose actions appear insane to outsiders.
This has been the story of the past 10 years. Neptune Pisces (2012 - 2026) produces ideological bubbles incomprehensible to one another. Saturn's ingress will deepen and intensify this trend to the point of crisis - but crisis brings opportunity.
(Note also how we naturally talk about Piscean phenomena in terms of bubbles - the Sign of the Fish... Profound depths, waves of emotion. These correspondences are everywhere once you open your eyes to them.)
Also remember: Violence is the only possible outcome when communications break down. Unless we make an effort to accomodate and understand others, violence will result. Sometimes this is impossible, but the effort will always pay off, if only for our conscience's sake.
2.
Expect more censorship with Saturn Pisces (March 2023 - 2026) and expect more of it to revolve around the disgusting warmongering occurring at the moment. Pisces at worst is censorious, thus the hypocritical political correctness of 2012 to now (with Neptune Pisces).
Saturn Aquarius (since 2021) has prompted us to work hard on forming our own little affinity groups and mutual support networks; Saturn Pisces will prompt us to form our own little "cults" for lack of a better word, and to avoid getting caught up in the wrong little "cults."
Pisces is vastly more cultish than Sagittarius, the other Jovian Sign. It does its teaching in secret & demands silence under penalty of expulsion from The Mysteries. Sometimes The Mysteries really are profaned by speech and publicity; sometimes someone's trying to control you.
Pisces is just as exacting & nitpicky as Virgo, only in completely invisible ways. Pisces is all the weird nonsense laws that make no sense to outsiders like how Pythagoras didn't eat beans and so on - makes perfect sense to the Elect, the Inner Circle, but none to the common man.
This is why cults (which are substantially a Piscean thing) make you do weird stuff which puts you into a freaky inner state where you can accept anything, you're dissociated, you're not the person you used to be - it's like you've shed your skin. That's Piscean.
Other people can't understand, your parents can't understand, you can't explain it to them and if you do you just sound crazy - that's Piscean, and that is what we will see a lot more of in the coming years. So what's a good little Piscean cohort look like? We've covered the bad…
A good outcome for Saturn Pisces is aligning yourself with a small group of people who share your beliefs (controversial as they are) and are willing to keep quiet about them. They protect you, and you support each other and do what you feel you need to do in secret.
I mean, being part of a small group which thinks it's got the inside scoop and can't share it with outsiders is only a bad thing if they're using it to get money & sexual favours out of you. Or if you're wrong. But life is fair and if you use your judgement you'll end up alright.
Throughout the Saturn Pisces transit, you'll be put into situations where you're forced to consult your conscience. Say things don't feel quite right: Pay attention to that feeling and feel free to question your assumptions about what's happening. This will help you out of mental traps.
And the flipside is: If you DON'T keep quiet about your esoteric knowledge and fringe political opinions while Saturn is in Pisces, you're that much more likely to get a visit from the police. Stalin had Saturn Pisces and cultivated an empire of surveillance and suppression.
Psyops, surveillance, cults and political correctness: These are Piscean phenomena which have been with us particularly since Neptune began transiting it in 2012, and which will become more troublesome with Saturn in Pisces. But many opportunities for freedom and friendship await.
A friend pointed out I was taking an "anti-woke" angle here but those on the Right will do it too - I agree. I am opposed to doxxing, nasty cultlike behaviour & viciousness in the guise of moral panic, from the Right or the Left. Saturn Pisces will challenge us to do better.
Really, part of Saturn Pisces will be a pressure to cave in to false morality and social conformity in spite of our conscience. But the conscience will always guide us to a good outcome if we trust it. That is one of Pisces' secrets...
(P.S. “Cult” and “conspiracy” are practically synonyms for Pisces, though the latter is more Scorpionic.)
Have a nice week, everybody.
